The most important features at a glance
No additional costs and lifetime licence
Price: 990,00 € (plus VAT) per development licence including all described features without additional costs with lifetime licence (one-time payment).
Performance
The PROMED Test Suite works with in-memory caching and code precompilation, which makes test preparation, execution and evaluation blazingly fast.
Open standards
The PROMED Test Suite is based on C# in the .NET Framework. Many available, free learning resources, as well as a standardised programming language, offer a low learning effort compared to other solutions' own scripting and programming languages.
Trend analysis
Live display of current statistics and trend analysis of measurement data during testing.
Measurement system analysis
Built-in support for the execution of MSA 1-3, as well as their analysis and evaluation with report generation.
Process and manufacturing analysis
Numerical statistics for process control with Process Performance & Process Capability Analysis, as well as First Pass Yield Evaluation
User and device management
Differentiated, role-based assignment of rights for individual users. Easy integration and management of devices with USB, serial or Ethernet connection.
Open source test sequence
Free and easy connection of own tools, libraries or dialogues, as well as uncomplicated debugging of the test software.
Effective Programming
Wizard-guided project management with automatic source code generation minimises programming and learning effort.
Start dialogue of the measuring system analysis 1 (MSA 1)
With the PROMED Test Suite, a measurement system analysis can be carried out in procedure 1, 2 or 3. The Test Suite assists with the execution and evaluation:
• Wizard-led MSA Implementation • MSA evaluation with graphs • Automatically generated, detailed report in PDF format • Data export of raw and analysis data
Example MSA 1: Before starting, the variant, number of runs, tolerance factor and sigma value can be specified. Optionally, a cool-down can be set so that, for example, the temperature of the test item can return to normal after the test.
Test results sorted by serial number
The "Test results" tab
In this tab, the test results of the individual runs can be viewed again.
Depending on the selected method, these can also be sorted chronologically or by operator, run or part number.
Example MSA 1: The test results are arranged chronologically and labelled with a serial number.
In the Evaluations tab, all relevant measurement and analysis data is listed.
Probability distribution MSA1
Probability distribution
In the Probability Distribution tab, the graph shows the distribution of values by bars and generates a Gaussian curve showing the probability density of the assumed normal distribution.
The specified process limit values are shown as vertical lines, the optimum value is shown as a dashed line.
Measured value distribution MSA1
Measurement distribution
The graph plots the measured values for each sample, the temporal order is maintained.
Statistics & Traceability
Detailed test results found through search
With the statistics and traceability tools, data sets can be imported and analysed from CSV, JSON or XML files, as well as from Access or SQL databases.
After the import, test results can be searched for in the search bar with the help of criteria.
The following search criteria are available in the search bar:
• Order - order number/lot number • User - Username/Examiner • Date - Test Date • Result - Test Result (PASS, FAIL, ABORTED) • Machine - name of the test system or test cell • Serial number - serial number of the test item • Variant - test variant or assembly
After executing a search query, all search results are listed. Double-click on the corresponding entry to open the detailed search result.
In the detailed view, all test steps are displayed with their limits and measurement results. All test metadata, such as test duration, serial number and tester, can also be found here.
The "Statistics" Tab
Under the Statistics tab, the imported data can be analysed.
The following filter criteria are available:
• Order - order number/lot number • User - Username/Examiner • Result - Test result (PASS, FAIL, ABORTED) • Machine - name of the test system • Serial number - serial number of the test item
A corresponding table shows the individual test steps with the set limits, their absolute min/max values, the sample size that serves as the basis for calculating the displayed values, as well as mean values, standard deviation, variance and process indices.
Double-click on a selected line to open the detailed analysis of the corresponding test step.
Devices & Tools
Configuration options of standard drivers
The library of supported devices is constantly being expanded and also offers support for devices from other manufacturers. If the desired device is not in the list, a standard driver can be used.
There is a choice between a serial, a network-based TCP/IP and a VISA driver. A unit configured as OFFLINE does not perform an initialisation routine when starting a new test and can therefore be perfectly used for debugging, cold programming tests and measurement steps.
Integrate external libraries
It is often necessary to integrate and use external device libraries from other manufacturers. Since the testing process of the Test Suite is completely open source, you can integrate your own tools, libraries or NuGet packages any time.
Export settings for data export
Data export
When dividing the export file, it is possible to subdivide the export data records by time. The options weekly, monthly or yearly are available for this purpose.
When selecting "Export mode", the file format into which PROMED Test Suite will export the test data is selected.
The options available here are Microsoft Access database, CSV file, JSON file, Microsoft SQL Server database or XML file. Depending on the selection of the desired format, the configuration at the bottom of the dialogue window also changes.
Settings for automatic reports
Automatic reports
Reports can be generated automatically for different results. There is a choice between the following options:
Do not generate a report Create report only if test is successful Create report only if test is faulty Always create a report
Reports can be generated in PDF or HTML format. Even if the generation of reports is not activated, it is possible to print a temporary report, i.e. a report that is not stored on the control PC. All available local and network printers are listed accordingly and can be selected easily.
